Training Events for Staff and Students – w/c 2nd May

Welcome to another briefing of the week’s training events in the Boots Library – we have a new programme of training sessions starting this week.  Please sign up if you’re interested in attending.  These sessions are free, and the student events are accredited by the Student Union’s STRIDE programme.

  • Practical Referencing Workshop.  Wednesday 4th May, 3-4.   Still finding referencing a nightmare?  Have a go at referencing different materials in this practical workshop. 
  • Trend Prediction Services, Thursday 5th May, 1-2.  Do you need to know about new and upcoming trends in terms of fashion, graphics, decorative arts and interiors? Find out about the various trend prediction services NTU has available. 


  • Preparing for your Dissertation.  Wednesday 4th May, 2-3. Researching over the summer? This session will direct you to key resources, help you to devise and develop effective search strategies as well as giving lots of handy tips for how to find information for your chosen topic. (2-3pm)
