TED Lectures – The Puppetry Behind War Horse

TED, if you’ve not heard of it before, organise and share lectures and presentations on a huge variety of topics by many well known and influential people, such as Professor Brian Cox, Vivienne Westwood, Olafur Eliasson, Steve Jobs, Daniel Libeskind, and Ross Lovegrove.  All of these talks are free and available online via the TED website.

Fans of the theatre might have heard of the play War Horse, where the horse itself is a puppet.  The video below, by the people who design and make the puppets, explain how they went about it, and demonstrate how it works.  It’s really fascinating
